By participating, entrants (or, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. An eligible minor should have his/her parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.
TO ENTER: Between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on March 1, 2008 and 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2008 (the “Entry Period”), visit www.bumblebee.com and follow the directions provided to complete the entry form and you will be automatically entered into the drawing. Limit one (1) entry per person and per email address and per household per day. Entries received from any person or e-mail address or household in excess of this entry limit will be void. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means are void. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
DRAWING: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about October 7, 2008 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by phone, mail and/or email and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner selected. If winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein. If Grand Prize winner is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to accompany minor winner on Grand Prize trip as one of his/her guests.
PRIZES: GRAND PRIZE (1): A six (6) day/five (5) night trip for winner and up to three (3) guests to a destination of winner’s choice within the continental United States (not to exceed $5,000). Destination and travel dates are subject to Sponsor’s approval. Trip consists of round trip coach-class air transportation for up to four (4) from a major U.S. gateway airport nearest winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor, in its sole discretion) and five (5) nights’ standard hotel accommodations (one room; quadruple occupancy) (room rate and tax only) and $1,000 spending money for winner only, to be awarded as a check. Winner will also receive a portable DVD player and a digital camera with a printer (models and manufacturers to be determined by Sponsor) (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of Grand Prize Package is $5,650). Winner and guests must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents. If winner resides within a 100-mile radius of destination, Sponsor reserves the right to provide ground transportation in lieu of air transportation and no compensation or substitution will be provided for difference in prize value. Travel arrangements must be made through Sponsor’s agent, on a carrier of Sponsor’s choice. Travel must be taken by 10/31/09 or prize will be forfeited and Sponsor will have no further obligation to winner. Certain travel restrictions and blackout dates may apply. Any minor guest must be accompanied on trip by his/her parent or legal guardian. Each guest (or, if a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) must execute and return a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. FIRST PRIZE (5): Portable DVD player (ARV: $250 each). SECOND PRIZE (10): Digital Camera with Printer (ARV: $400 each). Total ARV of all prizes: $10,900. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either expressed or implied by Sponsor. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes as well as any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including for the Grand Prize, ground transportation, meals, gratuities, and souvenirs. Winners may not substitute, assign or transfer a prize, but Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize (or portion thereof) with one of comparable or greater value. All prize details, including models and manufacturers, are at Sponsor’s sole discretion.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Released Parties (as defined below) are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, misdirected, undelivered or garbled guesses, entries or email; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections, availability or accessibility or miscommunications or failed computer, satellite, telephone or cable transmissions, lines, or technical failure or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors or difficulties of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, computer, network, typographical, printing or otherwise relating to or in connection with the sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or difficulties which may occur in connection with the administration of the sweepstakes, the processing of guesses or entries, the announcement of the prizes, or in any sweepstakes-related materials. Released Parties are also not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by site users, tampering, hacking, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or to any other person's computer related to or resulting from participating in this sweepstakes or downloading materials from or use of the website. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of the sweepstakes or website or who are in violation of these Official Rules, as solely determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified and all associated entries will be void. Each winner (or, if an eligible minor, his/her parent or legal guardian), by acceptance of prize, except where legally prohibited, grants permission for Sponsor and its designees to use his/her name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or other likeness and prize information for advertising, trade and promotional purposes without further compensation, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide in perpetuity, without notice or review or approval. In the event of a dispute regarding entries received from multiple users having the same e-mail account, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. Authorized account subscriber is the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by the Internet Service Provider (ISP), on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
